There hasn't been alot of discussion on what range of PEs in 97 and 98 we could expect to achieve with AMD (and using estimated future 12 month earnings as a basis for price). Typically, large semiconductor companies, with the exception of intel, have not reached substained PE levels above 20. Given current earnings estimates for 97, what might be the near-term (say the next 6-9 months) upside of AMD? Of course, if AMD becomes the next "momentum" play, PE is probably less relevant.

Thoughts?
