True. It's quite a change from $600 to $10 chips. There are a lot of low cost solutions for the appliance market. I know they want to move the PII into the set top boxes, but the cable co's seemed to have said no thanks to the $300-$400 price tag. It seems like StrongArm might be a viable option for the low end set top boxes (if there is such a thing as low/high end set top boxes)

That could be. Something seems to be delaying its introduction. They really havn't said much about it, but Intel is sort of like that. I guess they don't like to play their cards before they are ready.
