I've been catching up on this and the infe threads. Like Denise I don't want to lose this place that we have all come together in. Believe me, it is a place like no other on SI. Class begets class and this thread has developed that beyond anyone's imagination. How many of you old-timers on SI ever had another thread with as much comaraderie, intelligence, and fun as this one? Not many, I bet.
I wandered around on SI for months looking for a place to 'settle'. I was in and out of some of the penny's, but I found their threads distasteful, sort of slimy, if you know what I mean. I was also in the biggies, the dells, the msfts, the yahoos, and such; but their threads have no life. Oh, they have a lot of DD and analysis, but they are SOOOO serious ... oh, and just so we don't think it happens only to us, those threads react just like we do to the naysayers. Difference is, when the stock price is in the 80's, a few dollars drop doesn't bother anybody. When the fundamentals are there, so is the value. DGIV and INFE have that value. What those biggie stocks don't have, is market maker mischief. Once a stock gets up there in share count and price, a lot of that stops. And it will here too.
I'm sad to see rocketeer1 on a forced hiatus for clearly suspicious reasons, but he'll be back and I would bet with an armload of new DD. He can't post, but he sure can search for treasure. When I stumbled onto this thread, it was a BG post that got my attention and kept me reading and reading ... and reading. For that, I am grateful... as many of us are.
We don't have to 'take back our board', we never lost it. Oh sure, once in awhile a less than desireable 'thing' shows up, but they don't seem to last long here. Could that be because DGIV itself is so strong? With the 10-K coming out anytime, the antics now are pretty much wasted. I wish I could say the same about a couple of the sister threads.... but their time will come.
