Victor,

I've been watching this dare I say "equity" in utter amazement and I might have thought with the trading levels of last Thurs/Friday the shorts would have been closed out by now....But I've also noticed, from these boards and those on MF that short positions are in high demand! Noticing comments like (parphrasing) "how did you find nnn shares to short, there haven't been any available for the last month". Short positions have been 3-4 million every month, since January. Given how the stock has moved up since January, those 3 million short position may turn 3 or 4 times during a month. So, perhaps there was something on the order of 15 million short position held in May and we're only see what is the recorded short positions on the 15th, which was 4.3 million. (Numbers are illustrative and not asserted to be accurate)

How about a theory...as soon as a short position closes there is someone else to pick up the short position combined with a little "honest" buying we're seeing the first ever "perpetual" (hyperbole) short squeeze....I'll continue to watch this one for a while...there has to be a lesson here...wish I knew what it was.

Best Regards,
Jim

P.S. I hold no position, long or short, in AMZN and have decided that I will not under any circumstances....I'd rather go to a black jack table the odds are a lot better.
