And yes, I'm sticking around. I'm not so sure the avid/softimage is such bad news. keep in mind what avid needs to do to keep its operating margins on track...softimage is losing money, avid won't be able to spend what's necessary to bring softimage stuff up to par with discreet. I'm glad i don't own avid. not that any one cares right now.
