By combining the superb video quality of AITech's AIT1168 Video Signal Processor (VSPro(R)) and the capabilities of 3dfx Interactive's Voodoo2(TM) 3D accelerator, the Pro3D@TV for Voodoo2(TM) design kit delivers the ultimate solution for playing 3D games on a TV set. The single chip, crystal-controlled AIT1168 generates clear, stable analog NTSC and PAL TV video from the non-interlaced, analog RGB signals of VGA controllers. The controller integrates hardware scaling to provide TV-size underscan display of 640x480 and 800x600 computer graphics and video.
The Pro3D@TV for Voodoo2(TM) solution is targeted at markets that require a TV-out feature in 3D gaming applications to deliver high- quality display and full-underscan features of 640x480 and 800x600 in both NTSC and PAL TV standards.
