Seagate is suffering from untimely product transitions and a shift in the disk drive market. They have a glut of disk drives in the wrong product sector and have met with aggressive competition in the fast growing parts of the PC market. Sounds like the COO is looking for a scapegoat for his overproduction. The Japanese have already tried the cheap PC thing in the US market. Take a look at Packard Bell's performance. Listen to Abby.....
