Shalom I will advocate and support violence and retribution from no one, not even god. Can I expect less from god than from what I expect from my children? Can I tell my kids that I will not allow them to strike other kids in anger, even if, and maybe especially, if it is in retribution for past transgressions, and then tell them its okay for god to act inappropriately? NO, I can not. I have to hold god to a higher standard. mark
