Dell hasn't closed below it's 50dma since 1/9/98. Last week it dipped below but closed above it. It doesn't mean it can't pull and stay above it tomorrow, but closing below isn't a positive sign for any stock.

I might be wrong, but Ascend's Asian business today is smaller than it was 18 months ago. I think they felt the Japanese problem way before the rest of the techs perhaps because of their product (TNT) transition.
