I guess technically this subject is "OT" but I think probably more relevant than other "internal" factors. This is the reason I got completely out of the market last week, i.e., the potential for a Japanese/SEA meltdown and its likely repercussions.

Your last comment seemed somewhat contradictory to me Pat. I don't get how you simultaneously make them "sweat it out" and bail them out with tax dollars. Also I think its exaggeration to suggest that"the entire world" will collapse but agree that it will be one mother of a correction. Needed and healthy given current valuations some would say. Certainly would be a helluva buying opportunity for those with cash in hand wouldn't it?
