If it's possible to see the size or book I certainly don't know how to do it. Market orders are a few seconds.

I go through a broker but I think some firms may allow you to go through a PC. I doubt Quote.com is giving you the size of the trade, just that it was a tick.

Each house has different requirements on margin, mine is 10K per contract intraday, 12K overnight.

Commissions vary depending on the house, a fair range is 15 to 35 dollars a round turn per contract. Figure on the high end, I suppose, for safety. If you are paper-trading figure on slippage of a tenth in normal markets and 3 tenths in faster markets for closer to real life situations or perhaps even more during Globex hours. Of course, you could use Limit orders instead of Market orders and erase the slippage.
