Jim -

Firstly I want to thank you for your post. Sure I get emotional but these boards which didn't exist a few years ago act as a sort of shrink so you pour out your frustrations. It may not be what everyone thought the boards were for but they are going to evolve.

Those of us that are less good in this field are bound to be helped by those that are much better or calmer or maybe even not much better but still apppear that way. I don't much care at this stage but believe me your post helps even if temporarily until the next downward lurch.

I just posted to Maurice which reflects my general view ( from my restricted window).

I was just too scared to log in over the last couple of days and have we had some excitement since your post to me!!

Still in terms of valuations what now? Has the business changed radically since last week, has the business in Korea or Japan or Singapore changed radically in the last few days? Sad to say it seem to me that there has indeed been a change in fact an almighty massive one. Through the fog of all the Asian talk of last year and earlier this year it is now becoming more apparent every day that a great number of Japanese companies and financial institutions are bust and that the Japanese government is going to do nothing about it and when it eventually does do something it will be like trying to put out the towering inferno fire with a cup of water.

There is nothin on the horizon but bad news and seriuosly bad news.. Its such ashame because everything was going aslong so well.

But poor old Mr Greenspan is going to go down in history together with Neville Chamberlain...only a few days ago last week he said that thing were the best he'd every seen or heard of or soemthing like that. Within a few hours the slump had begun.

Regards,

L
