PaddyD, In April I pointed out reasons I was short and my opinions on the company prospects and stock price. Not many of the responses were constructive but I still got some value from the discussions and I hope I added some value too. I wish these discussion groups worked more like face to face adults having a real discussion. The "Mr Pink" would not use the third party in referring to himself and David Sosiak and others would consider the question rather than obfuscate. I doubt many pick stocks to short at random, so I think longs must accept that there may be something behind people going short, as shorts must accept the reasons to be long. For example, anyone who is long and has zero concerns about the terms of the loan is probably not assessing the risk correctly. Anyone short who believes there will be no CD sales is also mis-assessing risk. Individual opinion and experience helps both sides judge how high the risk is. I see no compelling reason to short TAVA again now. Much better to do something else while waiting to see what the next quarter brings. PaddyB.
