Gene: What y2k problem? I don't see no problem. It is all hype and rumor. That's all. Let me tell ya some privileged information. Last week I decided to have some fun after closing a short sale deal. The condo owner was a loser. The bank was another loser. I wind up to be the only winner in that mess. So I drove to Barstow with my girl friend for a little shopping at the outlet stores. She promised me to be nice and easy on my wallet. Three hours later, she spent over half of my short sale take. What a bitch! What a rip-off!

We then decided to drive to Vegas for the Comdex freebies. When we got there, that creep at the motel wanted $195 a night for a bug-infested room while staring at my girl. I almost punched him. What a rip-off! To make a long story short, we attended the so-called y2k "technical seminar" sponsored by Computer Associates. What a scene! With all these hypes and 250,000 plus Comdex attendees, they expected a big crowd. I took out my calculator and added up the numbers. It was 28. I looked around and eliminated the CA sales reps and the free loaders (including my girl and I) whose real intentions were free breakfast. The actual count was 4. One DP consultant who tried to promote his services. Two middle-aged MIS types who made token appearances to please their higher ups. One oriental old man with siver hair who stole the show by declaring with authority that it would be cheaper and cleaner for the companies to go under by filing chapter 11. Now, you see the whole thing is nothing but hype and rumor. Pure crap!

I lucked out this morning. I was able to short several hundred shares of this scam at $46. I am going to be rich.

Sal.
