CARLSBAD, Calif., June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Callaway Golf Company (NYSE: ELY) announced today that Yotaro Kobayashi, Chairman and Co-CEO of Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd., has been elected to its Board of Directors. Born in England, Mr. Kobayashi received his undergraduate degree from Keio University in Tokyo in 1956. In 1958 he graduated from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Kobayashi joined Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd. in 1958, and in 1963 was assigned to Fuji Xerox. In 1968 he became a member of the Board of Directors of Fuji Xerox and in 1978 he was appointed as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Kobayashi became Chairman in 1992 and is currently serving as Chairman and Co-CEO of that company.
