06-17-98 : WTO Session on U.S. Antidumping Duties on Chips The World Trade Organization (WTO) is scheduled to open a two-day panel session for settling disputes on U.S. antidumping duties on Korean-made computer chips in Geneva Thursday. The Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade said yesterday that the government has brought the United States to the panel because it refuses to withdraw marginal antidumping duties, which stand as high as 0.05 percent.
