Well, re. trading delisted stocks, this is confusing.

I tried phoning my discount broker to ask to place an order to be traded on Instinet. The broker said PAMCE was indicated on his screen as being traded on the BB, and so he had to place the order that way. (instinet and BB are two different things, aren't they?).

He said he saw no bid or ask price, but he did see transactions this morning at 4 1/8 and 4 1/4. He said that orders for BB stocks have to be placed (using this particular brokerage anyway) on the phone with a broker, and not via the broker's web page.

He accepted my limit order to buy to cover, but I could only do it as a day order, not GTC.
