"What is your name," asked Muffy of the curious young lady who was so Big and had the face resembling that of a Dog.

"Michelle," she replied, "but my friends call me BigDog. Don't you just love that Elvis painting? I have a large collection of them in my room at the bordell...uh, the rooming house where I live."

Muffy could not fail to notice Michelle and Lewis eying each other coyly. Their mutual attraction was obvious even to a hyperope like Muffy, who hoped that someday soon her wealthy family would arrange for her to have her vision corrected by the non invasive, virtually painless proprietary techniques she had seen featured so recently on WABC News, those of Sunrise Technologies, whose thread on Silicon Investor she knew to be located at the URL

Muffy had begun worrying somewhat about her vision ever since she received the following telegram from Norma, the taxicab driver, following Muffy's erroneous description of Norma, in a tourist postcard from the area Muffy had sent to Norma, as having grey hair:

"Norma's head is NOT bowed or grey!
Apparently Muffy's shining peepers need some
augmentation!"

Norma's telegram had read.

"That slut had better not take that tone with me!," Muffy thought wistfully.
