Jawd, I have never had any serious problems with them (10 months). Even daytrading (only do this occasionally) is not a problem.
Positives:
Very fast fills, immediate confirms, cheap, fills between the spread, unlimited realtime quotes, streaming quotes, price improvement, decent customer service (not great), always stock to short, account updates immediately.
Negatives:
No checking (yet, supposedly coming), no options, no BBs, lots of partial fills.
I mainly trade 100-400 shares per trade on larger, very liquid issues. AMZN is not my typical stock. More like DELL, INTC, ASND, CSCO, etc.
I certainly have seen no indication that they are "crooks".
