Excellent Point... Spriggs has everything to gain by playing ball with MIDL, and everything to lose if he doesn't. However, can you imagine, had the Arcon deal remained intact, it could be possible that any proceeds from the sale of DF-144 could have likely been absorbed by legal fees defending Dan Fisher and Arcon against a claim by the Nova investors.
I do not normally share with the thread my position in any stock, and I am not going to now either. However, what I will say is that I believe I am one of a small handfull of investors who could sell right now and still walk away with a profit. However, I am not selling.
Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to paint a rosy picture of how this stock will overcome and that this is merely a buying opportunity, etc. The truth is, this situation sucks.
The question we each have to ask ourselves at this time is "Do you think it is hopeless?" If you think it is, all of the reasons are there to sell, take what you can, and move on. My personal opinion is that it is not hopeless, and that there is still a very strong possibility that DF-144 will be produced and sold by Midland, so I am hanging around for a while. (I seem to remember certain "friends" telling me I was nuts for buying this stock way back in the pre-Arcon days, and those same friends eating their words a few weeks ago when the P hit 42.)
The important thing to remember, as Gary has said all along, the decision to buy, sell, or hold should lie 100% with the individual, based on individual financial needs and goals, and NOT what is posted on this thread.
Just my opinion, :-) Binder |
