Jawd, what problems did you have with them? I can't see why you wouldn't use them for daytrading I have a problem with the concept of a middle man between me and the market acting as principle for their own acount as opposed to acting as agent for my account. As regards day trading - you haven't lived till you've used ReaTick III software - a whole different world of split second trades. Totally impossible to seriously day trade with Datek browser based trading. Must have Level II market maker screens and one click ordering with instant confirmation feedback at a minimum. If you're just messing with a few hundred shares then Datek might be ok - but for turning around a couple of thousand shares in 4 or 5 seconds, you need something better.
