>>News: Digital Camera Operating Environment Adds Drivers for Iomega's Ultra-small Clik! Drives and Disks<<

Robert -

This announcement does deflate one of the bear arguments. Clik! WILL be usable with the majority of Digital cameras because the drivers will be built into the Digita operating system. I recall that when Digita was announced, bears said that this demonstrated the industry was passing Clik! by. Guess not.

The Sharp and Casio releases of today also tend to support the view that there WILL be Clik! OEMs, although to be fair it should be noted that actual products have yet to be announced.

BTW, to those who have wondered how Castlewood can make money at such low price points while Iomega can't I have something to say.

Castlewood hasn't even proven that they can deliver a product, much less that they can make money selling it. I'm not saying they can't do it, but there is a difference between making an announcement and making money. The bears have been driving this point home with respect to Clik! for some time now, so surely they must agree that the same applies to VapOrb.
