3COM demonstration for lowering the total cost of ownership of notebook PCs includes SystemSoft's PXE BIOS firmware, which is BIOS-vendor independent. Commercial availability of SystemSoft's mobile PXE BIOS firmware is expected in the third quarter, 1998.
