**NEWS RELEASE** Strachan 3-22-8-39W5M completion operations commenced Dalton Resources Ltd DAL Shares issued 19,868,110 Jun 15 close $0.25 Tue 16 Jun 98 News Release Mr. Doug Robertson reports Completion operations have commenced at the company's Strachan 3-22-8-39W5M well on June 1, 1998. Minor mechanical problems have been encountered, extending the time required to finish the planned program. Normal operations are continuing and will be completed in due course. Participants of the well have agreed to maintain a tight hole status on the Strachan well and are not at liberty to disclose pertinent data at this time.
