On the SVGI thread, David Kincaide asked about the extent of SVGL's lead in step and scan systems over its competitors. i.e. - Do they have a substantial lead for this technology or is it something that ASMLF, CANNY or Nikon might easily (or not so easily) catch up with?

Any enlightenment will be appreciated.
