Agreed. VB's documentation is vastly superior to Delphi's (I'll even admit that). Delphi, however, comes with VCL source code. This is the ONLY documentation needed by experienced developers and the documentation that does come with Delphi is quite good for someone who has never used the product before.

With VB a bug in a control (VBX or OCX or ActiveX or whatever todays "standard" is) can severely delay (assuming you are a C++ guru and you can develope your own component from scratch) or even kill (in the case you are not a C++ guru) a project. With Delphi there are no bugs you can't work around - and you don't have to be a C++ guru.

No quality or quantity of documentation or technical support could ever be as valuable as having the source code to the components. So as far as I am concerned, Delphi is the best supported tool in existence.
