Looks like many people are shorting TRF -
how else can one explain a very strong bounce of TRF after a small
piece of good news? I might search for some out of the
money puts on it for protection. One should check current discount
of RNE; they have declined less than the market, it seems; so they
might be at a premium now as well. Going long LETRX might be better
now. I'm in RNE for a long term (5 years or more), I'm trading other
stuff (might short TRF, though). I will be out of it when
Russia nationalizes (I guess, there
will be nothing to be out of then), but my fears of it calmed
down after what I read about politic games in Russia. Other than
that - long-term risk is not very significant at current market
valuations - 20 bln for all stocks. It seems, many who
hold DELL at >50 p/e, >50 bln. are unafraid - why should I be?
Rising unrest is also quite troublesome. I'm not sure how this will
be managed. -Vi
