HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 26, 1998--Energy Drilling Industries, Inc. (OTCBB:EDII) announced today the closing of all previously announced acquisitions of Brenham Oil & Gas, Inc., Texas Real Estate Enterprises, Inc. and G.C.A., Inc. The Company issued only restricted shares for these acquisitions and the acquired companies are debt free.
John Christensen resigned as President and Director of the Company to pursue other investment opportunities and Daniel Dror was appointed President of the Company.
EDII further announced the appointment of B.D.O. Seidman as the new auditors of the Company replacing Peat Marwick as previous auditors. When the audit for December 31, 1997 is complete, the company plans to become fully reporting.
