J., re: Sony has some great engineers, but they cannot defy physics." Sony must exist in a non-Newtonian universe because HiFD drives read at 3.6MB/sec. and write at 1.2MB/sec ... FASTER than any SNDK CF product. Since Sony engineers managed to squeeze a floppy drive into their Mavica cameras, only a technical flaw would stop them from using HiFD. Again ... does anyone have any FACTS concerning HiFD drives? Craig
