Am I the only one on the planet who doesn't think that Greenspan's statement is compatible with the DOJ and FTC's position on Microsoft?

After all, they are not challenging Microsoft's monopoly! They are simply trying to prevent Microsoft from preserving or extending it through illegal means.

Greenspan said nothing about allowing monopolies to force competitors out of business through predatory practices. He just said that monopolies on their own will disappear. Which is what Microsoft is afraid of, and why they have to be watched like a hawk.
