Rob, did you get to listen to the real audio playback of the press conference? Go to teleglobe - teleglobe.com Click on the link at the bottom mentioning the playback - you will need real audio player rev. 5.0. Anyway - Kenny and Charles mentioned that each company was getting ready to spend mucho bucks- teleglobe to spend on getting a sales force to after the retail business (since they were only wholesalers) and Excel to spend expanding their network internationally (and try to get some more products into the pipeline). It just happened that their meeting coincided at this juncture of the two companies. If it happened 6 months later - this deal would not have been possible, since the two would have been into their building phase (i.e. spending tons of money). I hope that answered some questions rob.
