Well, they have always said that they did not intend to officially support it. I guess this is the proof. Also, an interesting note to keep in mind, is that back on May 15th, M. Schaefer told his group that he felt very good about the acquisition/merger, but that if it wasn't done in 30 days that he would start to get concerned. Well guess what, it's 30 days and it looks to me like there are some shareholders who are getting concerned. Can't blame them, but keep in mind that this BIG DEAL is gravy, it is not why most of us bought off on the Westrend story. Westrend has been making real strides, as is evidenced by the Taylor announcement. In addition Alamo is getting bigger and stronger (and it was making money to begin with) and Taylor is also diversifying outside of just oil. I still think the future looks good, with or without the BIG DEAL. I am NOT saying I don't think it will happen, because I happen to think it will, but it is not the primary reason I am here.

Gene, at these levels, if I can generate some cash to do so, I my still add to my position. Have just been staying put thru all of this so far. |
