>>Lets say we still have something here with Midland and DF-144. Which for some reason I still believe in. I sold all common, W and P, however, I was the owner of record on 5/29/98, do you think I would still be due the split shares? And if so, when do you think I will see them in my account?<<

Bottom line is that until an ex-date is set on the split, if you sell before the ex-date one does not get the dividend. The ex-date, set by Nasdaq, has not been established (to my knowledge). If the ex-date is before the date that you sold, you should get the dividend, otherwise you won't. The paperwork has been submitted so it should be set shortly.

Be carefull of selling MIDLP (even if you owned it on 5/29/98, the date that MIDL intended to be the ex-date before it got botched up) before the ex-date is established or you may not get the dividend.

Bought some more MIDLP today at $8, hoping I still get the dividend on those.
