MED TECHS
Full-time positions available for medical technologists in the following departments:
Quality Control Dept.-Applicant must have at least 1 year recent experience in blood bank lab. Duties to include the serological evaluation of test reagents and procedures.
Mfg. Dept.- Responsible for phenotyping of red cells & performing solid phase testing. Research & development of new products for blood banks may be involved.
Validation Dept. - Basic computer skills required. Duties to include the development of procedures & serological evaluation of products. Must be able to work irregular hours if needed. Position: Validation Technologist
Qualifications: Bachelor degree, MT(ASCP) preferred. Verbal, writing, and mathematical skills at college graduate level. Basic computer skills for creating protocols and other documents. Basic knowledge of electronic and equipment design. Basic knowledge of immunohematology and in vitro diagnostic technology.
Duties: Includes writing validation protocols, implementing validation programs, monitoring process control procedures, and troubleshooting manufacturing process problems.
