Castlewood Expands Its Corporate Headquarters And Facilitates Expansion of Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and Advanced Products R&D
New York (june 16, 1998) - Castlewood Systems, today announced at the PC Expo computer trade show that it has moved the Corporate Headquarters and Advanced Products R&D to a new larger facility in Pleasanton, California.
Castlewood Systems intends to ship the world's first 2.2 gig "removable media drive" using state of the art magneto-resistive (MR) head technology. The 2.2 GB product, named ORB, was the only remoavable media drive recognized by PC Week as a "Best of Class" finalist during Comdex '97.
"The new facility will provide adequate space for our forecasted Sales, Marketing and Product Support resources. It also provides an outstanding infrastructure to launch our Advanced Products Research & Development group," said Mr. Syed Iftikar, CEO and Founder of Castlewood Systems, Inc. the new company address is listed as:
