TD: I won't bet on any anti-id vaccine until a company describes past attempts to induce effective responses and then explains why their antibody is different. Given Dr. Snodgrass' background, he should be able to tackle this within minutes of being asked. Again, I'm not saying that it can't work. I think that it would take an exceptional antibody, with binding strongly determined by a a small portion of the CDR and characterized by strong ionic interaction. And, that's for an antigen like a pathogen. I just don't understand why anyone expects high affinity antibodies against self antigens. Would love to be wrong, for the stock and for the patients.
