Sematech opinion (nothing really new): DRAM overcapacity causes delay in 300mm plans, stimulates accelerated transition towards smaller dies.

Interesting data tidbits: there are about 80 200mm fabs, about 40 are producing DRAMs, current DRAM demand can be covered by 26 fabs
