It'll be interesting to see how NT will meld Aptis carrier class RAC with Versalar from Bay. Aptis box's designed by folks heavy in telco stuff, just like Ascend. If my hunch is correct, their router code will need help (in scalability). I hope that Bay's expertise in router will be used wisely. Nortel + Bay = NoBay :) We used to joke back then about Wellfleet + Synoptics = Wellflop. Little that we knew.
