SURF has been lining up its vendors, with the vendors financing some of the equipment. They're still working on everything they can before FCC's final paperwork arrives. I'm surprised it's taken so long. With PrimeCo launched, it's just a matter of time before Sprint and AT&T will launch nationwide. Cellular is really entrenched and won't want to give up any ground. The three big PCS licensees are in for a real fight for customers. I sure can't see how SURF and the dozens of other licensees can make it. That doesn't even take into account the mobile radio and paging carriers who also want a piece of the turf. You're probably right in not investing in SURF. It will be a long time before these guys will see a profit.
