I cannot deny what you say, and is the very reason I do not hold any allegiance to any of them or any church but the true church of God. I take my instruction from the Bible and it alone, and the example of the first century church. Peter was not the first "pope", Jesus did not build His church on him, but on the confession of faith that Peter uttered in Matthew 16:16. And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. This is the rock, the foundation stone on which the church is built, faith in Jesus as the Savior of the world. Terrence, I was raised in the RCC, were you? You and I are probably not that different, except that I found the truth about God and Jesus.
