Exactly, which is why I believe it would most likely be carried by the transfer agent. Transfer agents have too much on the line to allow a loss exposure of this size to go unprotected.

Liability on the part of the transfer agent appears obvious, especially considering the conflicting statements that he provided during the last couple of weeks.

If I were a betting woman, (lol, as if I weren't), I would say that the insurance is carried by the TA, or his employer.
