Today, a number of you may have received a solicitation to invite you to receive the TOP DOG Newsletter. According to the copy that Byron Glenn has provided, here is what it said:

The Rocketeers have forwarded your email address to us with
the strictest confidence that it would not be passed out. We
will honor that of course. They have now endorsed us as a great
source of leads and info and we want to welcome you all to
joining TOP DOG investment newsletter for free. We aren't
professionals. We just share DD/info/leads with each other.
Rather that assuming you want to join, we ask that each of
you reply to this message formally and ask that you be added
to the TOP DOG email list (subscribe)... give us a few days
to get this done and we welcome anyone that wants to join.
TOP DOG team. To subscribe, send an EM to:
jimb123@collegeclub.com and put Subscribe in the message.
If you are already a subscriber or do not wish to be a Top Dog
subscriber, ignore this message.

I have had several folks asking me if I breached their trust in giving TOP DOG their mailing addresses which were to be kept private.

If this is indeed an authentic solicitation from TOP DOG and if the mailing list they refer to is from "my own personal mailing list" (which I have substantiated some of the names could be), then I need to state several facts.

I suspect who the culprit was and I expect an apology to be made by him to you all. This person knew VERY WELL that these names were not his to use for any purpose whatsoever!!!!!

I DID NOT AUTHORIZE NOR DO I CONDONE THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR!!!

Futhermore, any endorsement made by myself or the "Rocketeers" was an outright and blatant lie.

Additionally, it was also an outright and blatant lie that ANYBODY forwarded your e-mail address from me or the "Rocketeers" to TOP DOG.

Let me be very clear and bottom line this for you all:

"I DID NOT NOR DID THE "ROCKETEERS" FORWARD ANY NAMES TO TOP DOG NEWSLETTER FOR SOLICITATION. IF THEY WE'RE TAKEN FROM MY PRIVATE MAIL LIST FOR THEIR OWN PURPOSES, IT WAS WITHOUT MY PERNISSION. I WOULD CONSIDER THIS A LEGAL MATTER OF THEFT AND INVASION OF PRIVACY. I DO NOT NOR DO THE "ROCKETEERS" ENDORSE ANYTHING BUT OUR OWN DD."

This posting is being made only for the purpose if the above letter was indeed put out by TOP DOG. If it was, I apologize for those of you who were lied to by TOP DOG and I only demand an apology to us all.

If this was a hoax and someone impersonated TOP DOG, then I expect Jim B. (named in the above letter) will follow up on this matter.
