re FACTORY TOUR and get together

NOTE: the factory tour has been rescheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday 16 July. Here is tentative activity schedule:

Thursday:

0700 - 0930 Breakfast and social time
1000 - 1130 Briefing and Tour of Metric 12
1230 - 1400 Lunch
1400 - 1800 visit DELL Factory Outlet / excursion to look at DELL
HQ / personal time
1900 - 2200 Supper/Dinner and social time
2200 - ???? Your choice

Friday:
0700 - 0830 Breakfast
0900 - 1030 DELL Annual Meeting (Austin Convention Center)
1030 - 1200 Social and Discussion
1200 - 1730 Your choice
1730 - 2000 Dining at Esthers
2000 - 2200 Show at Esther's Follies
2200 - ???? Your choice: 6th Street

NOTE: (for those who will not be able to join us until Thursday morning at 10 for the tour) Directions to the factory: HWY 183 intersects I-35 about 2 miles north of the airport. From I-35, proceed west (actually NW) on HWY 183 for about 1 1/2 - 2 miles towards Lampasas. Take Payton Gin Exit, and continue west on access road (Research Boulevard) until intersection with Metric Boulevard. Turn right, go about 2 blocks, and you will see DELL METRIC 12 Facility.

The factory tour is limited to 35 participants. All other activities
are open to everyone, parents, friends, and family members. Unless there is a concerted demand for me do do so, at this time I do not plan to reserve a restaurant for Thursday evening, but rather to provide you with a short list of a few nice restaurants and how to get there. I think it will be easier to find smaller groups with similar palates.

I DO need to know participation for Esther's Follies on Friday
night. That one is critical!

Regards to all DELLheads, bachman (3)
