While I can sympathize with those that will be overwhelmed
with the number of parts and the intricacies of the technology
I don't think there's a one size fits all.

They are providing the necessary interfaces to use one drive for
your camera, hand held computer and desktop systems, looks like
they have all the bases covered.

They would be criticized if any of the interfaces were missing.

The key to the success of Clik! is to get it built in, the external
version will be used to satisfy (for the most part ) those devices that
currently don't have enough storage. IMO.
