I'm getting a notch closer to buying-

1. BTB up -lets see if the trend holds
2. consolidation beginning-thanks Justa for the story
3. AMAT bounced at 26

Over the next two months, we should be hearing a steady drumbeat of bad Asia news, and earnings shortfalls from U.S. multinationals. If AMAT doesn't break below 26, and the BTB continues flat for another 2 months, then I'm in. If AMAT violates its 12/97 lows, or the BTB continues downward, then I may stay out of the semi-equips for the rest of the year. In the meantime, I think I'll sell my INTC when it touches 75 on friday. Kurlak seems to be micro-managing the stock with precision. If it doesn't reach 75, I'll just stand pat.
