Hewlett-Packard Company today introduced an aggressively priced HP Brio PC system based on Intel's newest Celeron 300MHz processor and other leading-edge business technologies.
The new HP Brio business PC provides solid business-computing performance. The system, is expected to sell for about $1,190 (U.S.), comes with Microsoft Windows 95, which includes an easy-upgrade offer to Windows 98; 32MB SDRAM; 4.0GB hard drive; 24X CD; 16-bit audio sound; and MS Word word-processing software. Custom-configured systems are available through HP's channel assembly program.
HP Brio PCs use only industry-leading components and are thoroughly tested with a 1,000-point quality check to ensure customer satisfaction and peace of mind. The systems come with pre-installed network drivers for easy setup, HP's enhanced keyboard for one-touch access to the Internet and applications, and the HP Brio Center for on-screen support and assistance with everyday tasks.
In addition, the PCs offer advanced support capabilities for improved user self-reliance, including Symantec's pcANYWHERE32 remote support, McAfee VirusScan and PC diagnostics software. HP Brio PCs are backed by a three-year limited warranty.
