Shortlong,

That was my question a couple of days ago. I think we all concur that the real magic behind gmgc is its agent tech not the speech tech, as they licensed those from third parties. While surfing through the net trying to find anything about agent technology I stumbled over a private company named 3D Planet. They have developed a 3D intelligent agent to be used for exactly those tasked mentioned in your post. In fact they also signed a licensing agreement with IBM.

So my question is how patentable is agent technology, how would or could 3D Planet compete with gmgc and where is the technological difference between those companies, apart from having a different business model.

Any thoughts? I think it could affect gmgc.

Regards,

Frank
