Equitech Announces First Product Shipments

AIKEN, S.C., June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Equitech International Corp. EQTL has started shipping its full line of fiber-optic probes to Fortune 500 companies such as Glaxo-Wellcome, Bayer, Ciba Specialty Chemicals, Eastman Chemical Co., Exxon, Kaiser and Westinghouse SRS. The company has also begun shipping its new fiber-optic Multiplexer and probes to OEM customers such as Custom Sensors & Technology, Rosemount Analytical, C-Technologies, Acton Research and UOP Guided Wave.
Ron Floyd, President and CEO of the company, expects Equitech to start shipping its now UV-Vis Spectrophotometer and Multiplexed Spectrophotometer System next month. Equitech International Corp. develops and manufactures all the fiber-optic products being marketed by the company to its OEM and end-user customers. Equitech International Corp. based in Aiken, SC develops, manufactures and markets a fall line of Fiber-Optic Spectroscopy products targeted for a market that exceeds a Billion Dollars in Annual sales in large process industry and analytical laboratories.
