IMP, Inc. and Honeywell Enter Analog Technology Development Program
BiCMOS Analog IC High-Volume Production Process Technology
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 17, 1998--IMP, Inc. (NASDAQ:IMPX - news) today announced the signing of a Joint Technology development agreement with Honeywell's Micro Switch Division of Freeport, Ill.
The long-term program will develop new analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit (IC) wafer-manufacturing technology based on an existing IMP BiCMOS process. On completion of the technology development phase, IMP will provide wafer-manufacturing services to Honeywell on proprietary analog integrated circuits for sale in the North American and International markets.

Honeywell's Micro Switch Division, operating in the company's Sensing & Control business unit within the Industrial Control business, is a global supplier of control subsystems, sensors, switches and manual controls.
