If you remember, some time ago I posted a message from another
place that CF raised price for MS Money users. At that time
Brooks Jackson put great efforts to get to the bottom of the story
and figured out that CF was raising fees for all new customers to make them switch to banks.
CF said something like according their agreement with banks, CF
would do anything possible to avoid any competition with banks
for customers.
Perhaps, we are seeing the same with mortgages. CF will get all
those customers and more back through banks and and other sources.

I recall, in old times, when a woman wanted to switch her child
from breast feeding to natural foods, one of the recipes was to put some mustard on the nipple.
